What is a static mixer?
The static mixer is a device that allows to mix quickly, easily and efficiently two-component products (such as adhesives, PU, silicones, ...). They are attached to the bi-component cartridges. They are shaped like a thin tube. They are designed to mix quickly, easily and efficiently two-component fluids such as adhesives, PU, silicones. They are disposable accessories after use.
Inside the mixers, the mixing elements device allows the uniform mixing of the two components. The fluids are therefore in contact only in the mixer; this allows the cartridge to be used in several times if necessary. There are mixers of different widths and lengths, which can be adapted to the product to be mixed
The choice of the mixer is made, among other things, according to the viscosity of the two products mixed and the ratio of the cartridge to be extruded.
