First of all, a technical sales representative working for Etraves must be a true ambassador of our work and our values. Tenacious and conscientious in their daily work, they must be kind and responsive to customers. Proactive, even, because he must find and propose relevant solutions to his customers, sometimes even before they ask him.
A technical specialist...
The first of his missions consists in the analysis of a specification and the elaboration of a response to a call for tender. He must design and develop technical and financial solutions tailored to the requests of each client. Moreover, concerning this particular point, the technical sales representative must be able to inform himself on the procedures and techniques which can answer the aforementioned requests effectively.
...and commercial
Regarding the more "commercial" side of his work, the technical sales representative will have to negotiate with each customer the different points of his contract, after having presented him with the quotations and price updates. He/she is responsible for monitoring the progress of the commercial relationship and for making regular and reasonable commercial follow-ups. If necessary, he/she will have to draw up the bills of material, update them and adapt his/her commercial negotiations.

In addition, the technical sales representative will have to ensure a careful follow-up of the needs of each customer and will also have to regularly and accurately report all his results and what is transmitted to him by his customers to his hierarchy.
The technical sales representative working at Etraves must also have a regular monitoring mission, both technical and competitive, in order to be constantly able to respond optimally to the wishes of our customers and to pass on any information he or she deems relevant to his or her colleagues and superiors. Company mergers, new products, financial difficulties or a customer's retirement... our technical sales associate must know everything, so that our entire work chain can adapt, or even avoid any possible malfunction.
