Our privacy policy

The protection of personal data is an integral part of the Terms of Use of our Site, of which you declare to have read. By using the Site, you authorize Etraves to collect and use your data.

Personal data means any information relating to a natural person who is identified or can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identifier, such as a name, identification number, location data, online identifier or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity (hereinafter, "Personal Data")

All operations on your Personal Data are carried out in compliance with the regulations in force, in particular the law n°78-17 "Informatique, Fichiers et Libertés" of January 6, 1978 modified by the European Regulation n°2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free circulation of such data.

1.1- WHO COLLECTS PERSONAL DATA AND WHAT TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA ARE COLLECTED?

As part of your use of the Site, some of your Personal Data are collected by the company Etraves located at 97 avenue Villiers, 75017 Paris, represented by Valérie PAPIN, director.

Personal Data collected by Etraves may include: email address(es), IP address, navigation data.

1.2- WHEN AND HOW YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED

The collection of your Personal Data occurs when you register for the newsletter and when you browse the Site. The User is required to provide his Personal Data in particular when he fills in the "newsletter registration" field

Etraves collects your Personal Data in a transparent manner thanks to the presence of information notices. These are optional and the user is free not to fill them in.

1.3- PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Etraves is committed to collecting your Personal Information only for specific purposes and to processing it in accordance with the stated purposes. Your Personal Information is collected and used for one or more of the following purposes: The sending of personalized information, the realization of statistics and analysis.

1.4- RECIPIENTS AND SUBCONTRACTORS OF PERSONAL DATA

Your Personal Data will be processed by the company Etraves, manager of the Site, and by its subcontractors within the meaning of the modified law "Informatique et Libertés" of January 6, 1978.

The staff of Etraves as well as the service providers it mandates are recipients of the Personal Data.

Personal Data is stored by our service provider and is not transferred outside the European Union.

Etraves declines all responsibility for the consequences related to the degraded functioning of the Site resulting from the refusal of cookies by the User or the impossibility for the Site manager to consult the cookies necessary for their functioning due to the User's choice.

Etraves will not under any circumstances disclose your Personal Information to third parties without your prior consent.

Etraves may, however, be required to transmit your Personal Information without your prior consent in order to comply with a legal requirement. As such, you agree that the company may transmit Personal Data if it deems it necessary to do so in order to comply with an extra-judicial or judicial act, a warrant, a judgment or an order, to a competent authority in the context of a particular investigation mission.

1.5- RETENTION PERIOD OF PERSONAL DATA

Etraves processes and stores your Personal Data in a secure environment for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and undertakes to delete them from its active database once their purpose and storage period have expired. Data relating to audience measurement, communication personalization and cookie management are kept for a period of 24 months. The data relating to the exercise of your right to object are kept for a period of 3 years from the exercise of this right.

1.6- CONDITIONS FOR EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS RELATING TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA UNDER THE REGULATIONS

You are informed that you have the right to access, rectify and oppose the processing of your Personal Data, for legitimate reasons, allowing you, if necessary, to rectify, complete, update or oppose the Personal Data that are inaccurate or incomplete, in accordance with the amended law "Informatique et Libertés" of January 6, 1978. You also have the right to retrieve, at any time, certain Personal Data concerning you, which you have communicated to us and/or which we process with your consent. You have the possibility to exercise your right to the portability of these Personal Data for your personal use or for the purpose of transferring them to a third entity.

Requests must be accompanied by a copy of a valid identity document. You are also entitled to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority such as the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés) in France.

1.7- COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAW ON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND CIVIL LIBERTIES

You are required to respect the legislative and regulatory provisions relating to data processing, files and freedoms, the violation of which is liable to civil and criminal penalties.

1.8- SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

Etraves takes all necessary protective measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of Personal Data concerning Users and to prevent such data from being damaged, erased or accessed by unauthorized third parties. Access to Personal Data is strictly limited to persons authorized by their functions for the aforementioned purposes and who are bound by an obligation of confidentiality.
